Rev. Joy Laughridge

Senior Pastor

Pastor Joy is a native of Western NC. She is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary located in Southern California and was ordained 2005. Pastor Joy served two other churches in the Tampa/Clearwater area before coming to Lakewood in 2019. She loves sharing the good news through preaching and through mission to the community, and she loves connecting with people. Pastor Joy is mom to two girls and one dachshund named Brownie. She enjoys all forms of creative expression and loves living in Florida for the sun, opportunities for water recreation, and the natural beauty of our state. 

Brian Mitchell

Director of Youth & Christian Education

Brian began his ministry in Ohio with the PCUSA in 1996, focusing on Youth Ministry & Christian Education. He joined LPC in 2015 when he relocated with his family to Jacksonville. Brian was born & raised in Scotland and served as a member and elder in the Church of Scotland until his move to the US. He is working towards his Master’s Degree in Divinity & is a candidate for ministry under the care of the St Augustine Presbytery. Brian is passionate about sharing Jesus with teens, good music, Glasgow Celtic Football Club, & the Cincinnati Reds. He is married to his love Sara and they have two wonderful sons, Aidan & Brennan.

Rev. Vickie Bossuot

Parish Associate

Rev Vickie Bossuot is an Ohio native and has served LPC for more than 20 years as Associate Pastor & Parish Associate. She is also the Chaplin at Riverside Presbyterian Residences. Rev Vickie attended Muskingum College, holds a Psychology degree from Grove City College, & graduated from Columbia Theological Seminary. Before attending seminary, she worked as an assistant buyer and Director of Christian Education. Rev Vickie’s husband, Bill, is a retired environmental biologist and their daughter, Katherine is in college and participates in shows with her horse, Chip. Rev Vickie loves Ohio State football, singing, reading, & traveling.

Robyn Ossi

Preschool Director

Robyn Ossi has been the Director of Lakewood Presbyterian Preschool for ten years. The LPP faculty provides a faith-based preschool designed for our young learners to value kindness to others, good citizen qualities, leadership attributes, and academic strength. Children are the foundation and passion of LPP. Robyn and her husband Ray have three married daughters and two granddaughters. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and long walks.
